Martyrdom of the fifth Guru, Guru Arjun Dev Ji Saturday June 2oth between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm the Sikh community of Squamish will celebrate their anniversary with a Street Parade through downtown Squamish with associated short/ verbal presentations at the pavilion in downtown Squamish. This will be a joyous event for the Sikh community and they are hoping to have the support of the community of Squamish. The Squamish Sikh Society is inviting everyone out to attend the parade. The Sikh community in Squamish commemorate the martyrdom of their first martyr, Guru Arjun Dev Ji. Sikh Gurus taught the message of compassion, love, dedication, hard work, worship of one God and commitment to peace and harmony.

Parade will stop at Pavilion Park where there will be performances and free food will be provided. Then it will continue back to Sikh Gurudwara.
